Supporting projects like oral history collection, professional training, and development of linguistic and cultural materials, IMLS is committed to supporting and improving core library services in Native communities, while also ensuring the sustainability and of Indigenous heritage, culture, and knowledge. Grant programs are designed to support Tribes and organizations that primarily serve and represent Native American and Native Hawaiian communities.
