OMB Updates 2 C.F.R. part 200

On August 13, 2020, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published revisions to the uniform grant regulations (2 C.F.R. part 200).  Most of the revisions will become effective on November 12, 2020.  However, the following two revisions became effective August 13, 2020:

  • § 200.216 Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment
  • § 200.340 Termination

Getting Started

Please read the General Terms and Conditions for IMLS Discretionary Awards. It is your responsibility to be familiar with this document and to comply with its requirements.

The award date is listed on your Official Award Notification. It is not the same date as when the project begins.

Interim Reporting

Failure to submit reports on a timely basis may result in delayed payments and the suspension of action on pending applications.

Performance Reports

The award date is listed on your Official Award Notification. It is not the same date as when the project begins.

Submit all performance reports in PDF format through your eGMS Reach account using the Forms & Reports tab. 

Financial Reports

Complete all financial reports through your eGMS Reach account. Find the form using the Forms & Reports tab. 

If you have questions about the financial report, please email imlsreporting@imls.gov and reference your award number in the ‘Subject’ of your email.

Final Reporting

Native American Library Services Basic Grants

Award date after July 19, 2018 (i.e., award number ends in “18” or higher) 

  • Final Performance Report: Word (106 KB), PDF (250 KB)
    • Submit all performance reports in PDF format through your eGMS Reach account using the Forms & Reports tab.
  • Complete all financial reports through your eGMS Reach account. Find the form using the Forms & Reports tab.

Award date before July 18, 2018 (i.e., award number ends in “17” or lower)

  • Final Financial and Performance Report: Word (115 KB), PDF (211 KB)
  • Submit all reports in PDF format through your eGMS Reach account using the Forms & Reports tab.

All Other Discretionary Programs

Performance Reports

Submit all performance reports in PDF format through your eGMS Reach account using the Forms & Reports tab.

Financial Reports

Complete all financial reports through your eGMS Reach account. Find the form using the Forms & Reports tab. 

If you have questions about the financial report, please email imlsreporting@imls.gov and reference your award number in the ‘Subject’ of your email.

Requesting Payment

Submit a payment request through your eGMS Reach account using the Payments tab. If the request for payment is incomplete or inaccurate, payment will be delayed. 

If you have questions about completing the payment request, please email grantsadmin@imls.gov and reference your award number in the ‘Subject’ of your email. 

Organizations and institutions that utilize third-party software to submit applications via Grants.gov may encounter old or outdated forms. IMLS cannot provide technical assistance for any issues applicants encounter with proprietary software. The final and correct versions of all IMLS application packages can be found on the Grants.gov portal directly.
