The Office of the Director (OD) provides guidance, leadership, and direction necessary to fulfill the agency’s mission. IMLS understands the importance of having a diverse workforce. It is our goal that IMLS reflect the image of America in all of our program areas and throughout our workforce, including our supervisory, management, and leadership positions.
Pursuant to the Agency's internal delegation, the Deputy Director for Museum Services currently serves as the Senior Official Performing the Duties of the IMLS Director.
