Citizenship Education and Civic Integration in Your Museum or Library

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited museum and library employees to participate in a webinar with subject matter experts from the USCIS Citizenship and Education Training Branch. USCIS shared information on civic integration opportunities that museums and libraries can provide for immigrants and adult citizenship education programs. The webinar ended with a question-and-answer session.

USCIS provides several resources to help museums and libraries develop and maintain a high-quality citizenship instruction program. During this webinar, we will share resources on developing an adult citizenship education program and curriculum, building partnerships within existing adult citizenship education programs in your community, and civic integration activities that align with your exhibits, collections, and resources.

USCIS presented this webinar as part of the federal partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services to provide citizenship and immigration information to museum and library professionals.
