NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission
Log Number: ST-256900-OMS-24
The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission will make objects from its archaeological collections accessible to the public. The collections include two archaeological excavations in Lower Manhattan excavated in the late 1970s and early 1980s: the Stadt Huys Block Site and 7 Hanover Square. For the project, staff and paid graduate interns will process and digitize approximately 20,595 documents. As a result of the project, staff will create two online exhibitions and make the digitized collections available for use by the public and researchers.
