Greater Hudson Heritage Network

The Greater Hudson Heritage Network will work with 10 small and mid-size museums in New York State to conserve objects from their collections. The objects include 35 items of historical significance and a wide range of materials, which, after a preliminary assessment, were selected as objects most in need of conservation treatments. A panel of conservators will work on the objects over the course of the project and will also participate in community engagement conservation workshops at each museum. The conservation workshops will provide educational training for participating museum staff and address conservation topics specific to individual museum collections.
