Elkhorn Valley Museum

The Elkhorn Valley Museum will rehouse and catalog objects in its collection of over 700 artifacts related to the entertainer Johnny Carson, including photographs, magazines, costumes, props, and television memorabilia. To mitigate the threats of environmental deterioration and damage from extensive handling, staff will oversee the installation of new shelving and rehouse objects in customized storage boxes. Museum staff will also conduct an inventory with condition assessments as well as create a disaster preparedness plan.
