St. Olaf College

The Special Collections and Archives of the Rolvaag Library at St. Olaf College will preserve and digitize its collection of Norwegian-American Imprints, which refer to the “The Great Settling,” when one-third of the Norwegian population emigrated to the United States in the late 19th to early 20th century. The collection includes monographs, annuals, monthly periodicals, and daily or weekly news publications comprising of approximately 4,000 titles and 7,700 catalog items. The college will hire a collections associate position to work with conservators to prepare condition reports, treat the materials, and digitize the collection.
