La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club

The La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club will continue an ongoing effort to preserve and digitize their archival materials. The collection chronicles an important American legacy--the artists, companies, and historic productions that found a home at La MaMa and have had a lasting influence on the performing artist landscape in this country. The project will focus on cataloguing and digitizing the core collection materials that document the Off-Off Broadway movement as it developed from 1991-2008 and expand access to these materials through the La MaMa Archives digital collections portal. New catalog records will document paper materials that comprise the collection of programs, flyers, posters, production notes, and photographs from the collection.
