The Game Lab at American University and FableVision Studios will host a national forum on games-based education in libraries. This forum represents a unique opportunity to bring together practitioners from public, academic, and school libraries, and experts in game design to discuss promising practices and emerging trends, which will enhance professional development opportunities for library staff and faculty in the game-related area.The forum will be enhanced by the creation of videos, animations, and online demonstrations providing concrete examples for librarians on how to integrate game based learning into their programming. The project partners will develop a website with resources for librarians, including a games program guidebook.
