North Carolina Central University will develop a pilot course and deliver online learning materials to enable librarians and information professionals to build and maintain repositories and databases for mobilizing computable biomedical knowledge (MCBK). With affiliated partners and collaborators, the project team will design and develop a pilot class and open educational resource materials for future training. With training in MCBK collections and technology, library and information science professionals can contribute to learning health systems and help design more effective data archives and repositories to improve information accessibility for healthcare professionals, patients, and researchers.
