The “Sustainable Training for Alabama Public Library Employees” (STAPLE) initiative is a joint project between the School of Library & Information Studies at the University of Alabama and the Alabama Public Library Service. It will provide management training to sixty of the state’s public library administrators in two cohorts. This project will help provide these library managers with enhanced planning, communication, and networking skills. The educational resources developed by the project will be made freely available on the web.
