University of Maryland, College Park

The University of Maryland will host and co-sponsor, along with the American Library Association’s Library Research Round Table, the Library Research Seminar V in October 2010. This grant will support ten student, ten junior faculty, and ten library practitioner attendees, as well as plenary speakers. Acting as a bridge between academy and practice, the Library Research Seminars are held every three years and seek to bring faculty and practitioners together to review recent research that may contribute to policy and decision making and to help participants develop future research agendas and refine research methodologies.
