The Syracuse University School of Information Studies will collaborate with the University of Illinois and the University of Pittsburgh to build upon and enhance a successful IMLS-funded project that increases the diversity of and access to course offerings in library and information science (LIS). Specifically, the project seeks to support partnerships between LIS schools and library associations to increase course offerings to graduate students and current librarians, to train faculty and doctoral students to teach specialized online courses, and to build a digital repository of learning objects from this collection of courses.
