Society of American Archivists

The Society of American Archivists will lead a collaborative project to conduct a comprehensive census about archivists currently in the workforce, identify the knowledge and skills they need to do their jobs now and to adapt to future demands, and provide graduate and continuing education programs with baseline data to support the recruitment and training of new archivists. To help ensure that the needs of diverse groups are addressed, representatives from Native American and African American archivist groups will actively participate in the project. Match: 150,713
