University of South Carolina, Research Foundation (University of South Carolina, School of Library and Information Science)

The University of South Carolina School of Library and Information Science will provide doctoral education for at least seven future library and information science faculty members who will focus their teaching, research, and professional service on the information, literacy, and reading needs of children and families in public and school libraries. Upon successful completion of the program, the doctoral graduates will be placed in diverse university settings, where they will contribute to enhancing the research productivity of the field as well as the education of master’s-level professionals.
