Pennsylvania has a great need for Master’s of Library Science (MLS) educated librarians, especially in the state’s rural areas where a significant number of library professionals are expected to retire in the next few years. To address this growing need, Pennsylvania’s Office of Commonwealth Libraries, partnering with Clarion University, will provide scholarships for graduate school to twenty individuals working in the state’s rural libraries. Special effort will be made to attract applicants who are bilingual.
