San Antonio Public Library Foundation

The San Antonio Library Foundation and the San Antonio Public Library will recruit and provide Master’s in Library Science scholarships to 45 individuals to address the shortage of professional librarians in the region while meeting the needs of their increasingly diverse community. At least half of the scholarship students will be bilingual. In addition to the formal graduate school work, the library will provide the scholarship recipients with librarian mentors, executive coaching, and the opportunity to work as a library aide while engaging in professional development activities at the state and national levels.
