Nevada State Library and Archives

The Nevada State Library and Archives, in collaboration with the University of Nevada – Las Vegas Libraries, the University of North Texas School of Library Science, and the Las Vegas – Clark County Library District, will build upon a successful multilibrary collaboration begun in 2002 and supported by IMLS in 2004. The funds will be used to recruit 40 diverse students from Nevada, Utah, and other western states for enrollment in the fall of 2007; increase the level of grant support available to students pursuing library master’s degrees in those states; and provide an enriched educational experience through in-depth special topic seminars and professional development support.
