Denver Public Library

The Denver Public Library will partner with the Emporia State University School of Library and Information Management and the University of Denver College of Education, Library and Information Science Division to conduct an educational program that will increase America's pool of minority and bilingual librarians. Ten students from local colleges and 10 Denver Public Library staff members will be recruited, with a focus on minorities and bilingual speakers. The Denver Public Library will provide individual and group mentoring, as well as employment opportunities for the program participants. Match: $128,899
