University of the Virgin Islands

The University of the Virgin Islands will collaborate with the University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciences to fund 25 Virgin Islands residents for the master's in library and information science degree through the University of Pittsburgh's School of Information Science's FastTrack Online Program. Faculty from the University of Pittsburgh will travel to the Virgin Islands for face-to-face interaction with the cohort. The students will also receive academic and professional support through field experience, targeted mentoring, and exposure to national professional meetings, and will make a commitment to work for at least two years in the Virgin Islands.
