The Mansfield University of Pennsylvania School of Library and Information Technologies will partner with the Colorado Department of Education, the Harrisburg Area School District, and the Pennsylvania Department of Education School of Library Media Division to increase the number of school library media specialists across the nation while building advocacy among school administrators. During this project, 45 school library media specialists will be recruited, trained, and provided with job opportunities, and 30 principals will be furnished with the background, guidelines, and tools to work effectively with school library media specialists.
