Association of Research Libraries

The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) will collaborate with three partner library schools to recruit and train 45 master's-level students. Student activities will include a fellowship based on a combination of an ARL position description and learning goals established by fellows, a formal mentorship with a professional in the library hosting the fellowship, and a five-day Leadership Institute exploring opportunities and challenges facing academic and research libraries. When students graduate, staff will work with them to identify appropriate positions in research libraries. Match: $538,011
