University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries

This two-year project is a collaborative research project involving the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries, the University of Nebraska State Museum, the Nebraska Historical Society, and members of the Omaha Tribe, to locate and catalogue Omaha artifacts and photographic images scattered in museums, libraries, and private collections throughout the world. Key to this project is the development and implementation of a Web site to make the resulting database of Omaha artifacts and an online gallery of Omaha images accessible to tribal members, educators, students, and the general public.
