Hi‘ipaka, LLC

Waimea Valley Library staff will inventory, catalog, and rehouse their materials and collection to make them accessible to Native Hawaiians, Native Hawaiian scholars, other scholars, and the people of Hawai’i. Project staff will also work with Native Hawaiian advisors to develop teaching materials to encourage Native Hawaiians to have pride in their cultural identity that is passed on to their keiki and future generations. Upon the completion of this project, Waimea Valley Library will have celebrated and shared the vibrant and living Hawaiian culture with the rest of the world.
