Pechanga Band of Luiseño Mission Indians

The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians will use grant funds to create two library intern positions; purchase mechanical assist Spacesaver shelving for the library; and purchase new publications, journal subscriptions, and journal back issues. Currently, 10,493 books, magazines, and academic journals, consisting predominately of Western Americana/Native American Studies, have been cataloged in the Pechanga library. This funding would allow for the hiring of a dedicated staff to assist in cataloging a recent acquisition of an additional 5,000+ books and journals on Native American topics.
