This two-year project will digitize the microfilm of the "Tundra Times" newspaper, 1962-1997, create a full text index to the articles with links to the scanned newspaper images, provide the "Alaska Periodicals Index" with 3000 indexing records and develop local talent in advanced library technology issues.
