Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation

The Yakama Nation Library will be focusing on reading literacy community outreach and advocacy. In order to address this, the library will host book distributions throughout the Yakama Nation area to help build at-home libraries for ages 0-18. During book distributions, librarians will share information to introduce concepts about the importance of reading at an early age and the continuance of reading throughout the years.
