San Carlos Apache Tribe

The San Carlos Apache College Library of the San Carlos Apache Tribe in Arizona will cultivate a better understanding of both cultural and historical knowledge as it pertains to the Tribal community by developing the “Introduction to Historiography: The Apachean Peoples” course. The project will also involve developing an open-source textbook dedicated to information regarding the history of the San Carlos Apache Tribe and provide professional development and attainment of a Master of Library and Information Science degree for a staff member. Community development and accurate historical representation are important for the future of the Tribe and its members.
