Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians

The Tribal Library of the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians in Arizona will develop the “Kaibab Strong Foundations” project to improve educational outcomes and literacy rates among the youth of the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians. This project will engage the community in educational activities, including family events, skills development workshops, and advocacy programs. The project aims to create a culture of lifelong learning and education advocacy, as improved educational programs and increased literacy rates will have long-term positive effects on individuals' lives. The program addresses the pressing need for improved educational programs, specifically focusing on early childhood education, family engagement, and literacy.
