Hopi Tribe

The Hopi Tribe will use grant funds to support the branch library as well as the library’s two mobile units, Hopi Tutuquayki Sikisve-Mobile Library and the Wuwanamtapsikisve-Mobile Computer Lab, to deliver core library services to its community. The libraries provide access to the collection (print and non-print collection items) and deliver inter-generational and literacy programs. The library’s Wi-Fi hotspots are a valuable service to the Hopi people who may not have access due to availability or affordability barriers. Public Access to computers and laptops is also available for patron use on the Mobile Units and at the Branch Library. The project will provide direct benefit to the members of the Hopi Tribe.
