Enterprise Rancheria of Maidu Indians

The Enterprise Rancheria will support the purchase of a digital scanner to digitize the collection and update the catalogue and purchase books and cultural documents to support its existing library services for its community. It will also support library staff to manage the digital catalogue, utilize digital platforms for intergenerational storytelling and cultural education during events like the Salmon Day Festival, and run the digital tutoring program for youth, Elders, and working-age adults where intergenerational connections are created with the principals of lifelong learning and a solid understanding of Maidu and General Native American Culture. The project will provide direct benefit to the members of the Enterprise Rancheria.
