Samish Indian Nation

The Samish Indian Nation in Anacortes, Washington will expand its library digital services: retain a librarian, acquire new e-books and audiobooks, and provide professional training at the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums conference. The library hopes to increase use of its e-books and audiobooks collections. An important goal of the project is to work on better outreach and advertising with the desire to increase the number of library users in the community. Also this project will enhance the skills of the current library workforce and leadership through training, continuing education, and opportunities for professional development.
