Coeur d'Alene Tribe

The Coeur d’Alene Tribe in Plummer, Idaho will focus on advancing literacy for children attending both the Early Childhood Learning Center and the Coeur d’Alene Tribal School. The goal of this project is to promote literacy in two schools on the Coeur d’Alene Reservation by increasing the number of books and materials in classrooms libraries at the Early Childhood Learning Center and the K-8 library at the Coeur d’Alene Tribal School. Providing these books and materials will encourage reading enjoyment, increase literacy for students and promote life-long learning.
