The Nisqually Tribal Library in Olympia, Washington will focus on re-opening and giving patrons access to resources using mobile services after being closed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic for 2024. The library will continue to keep the library as updated and clean as possible with safety measures. With the addition of a UV sanitation station, it will elevate the level of cleanliness and sanitation of high-use areas and equipment. Staff will attend the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums conference with business cards and information about the library to share with other guests of the conference. Attendance at the conference will provide networking opportunities to allow library staff to work with others and discuss ideas for how to stay open and keep engagement within the community, elders, and youth.
