Upper Lake Band of Pomo Indians of Upper Lake Rancheria of California

The Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake Tribe in Upper Lake, California will create the Tribal Pomo Community Library because the Tribe currently does not have a library. This tribal library will encompass a wide variety of publications including books, magazines, articles, journals, and maps focusing on Native American subject matter as well as native authors. The library will aim to improve the access to a library in a rural community that would focus on California Native American Indians. In addition, the library will help promote a love for reading and learning.
