The Kim Yerton Memorial Library of the Hoopa Valley Tribe in Hoopa California will finalize its Stay-Open Plan to keep the library open during a "Power Outage,” and will continue to develop the Library's Disaster Preparedness Plan by offering four Disaster Preparedness workshops. Work will continue to develop the Hoopa Tribal Museum's Disaster Preparedness Plan with a focus on keeping the Museum open during a "Power Outage" due to storms or mishaps. As a result of California's numerous storm surges for the past two years, resulting in numerous power outages the Hoopa Library and Hoopa Museum, will continue to develop Power Outage Plans and Disaster Preparedness Plans.
