Lummi Nation

Lummi Indian Business Council will continue to develop its collections, especially with respect to youth materials, and materials by Native authors and artists. Additionally, the library will begin a new program of tabletop role playing gaming in the library to encourage community building and connections. The library will also support travel for its library workforce to skill-enhancing professional development meetings and conferences such as the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries and Museums conference, the Washington Library Association Conference, the Northwest Interlibrary Loan conference, and the Keepers of Stories meeting. Project activities will improve community connections, increase use of library collections, and ensure staff are able to provide better library service to the community.
