Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation

Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation will implement new outreach programming tailored to meet the needs of foster families who live on and off the reservation to support the well-being of foster children and ensure children maintain a connection to their tribe and traditions. The tribe will partner with Wassaja Family Services to support foster families by creating resources, programming, cultural events, and partnering with foster group homes to ensure foster children can remain connected to their heritage. The project will also continue to build its Makerspace and offer library programs with a focus on literacy to support childhood education and provide resources to foster families.
