Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community will provide training, increase access to collections, and do community outreach. It will provide training of two staff members as Digital Archives Specialists through the Society of American Archivists to increase access to their collections through a Digital Archive. Additionally, it will purchase website services to support its current database and focus on community outreach to educate and inform community members on the ways they can engage with the archives. The activities will enhance avenues for people to research their history, culture, and traditional values and encourage people to contribute to the archives.
