Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Mission Indians of the Santa Ynez

The Santa Ynez Band of Mission Indians will purchase books, journal subscriptions, magazine subscriptions, and a book cart for the two libraries of the Santa Ynez Chumash Museum and Cultural Center. Through this project, the Research Library will expand collections in professional development, comparative culture, and local history, benefiting tribal youth, local students, and researchers. The Youth Discovery Library will acquire books featuring Native American characters and stories, fostering cultural awareness and education among children and teens. The project will directly benefit tribal members, local students, researchers, and youth, aligning with the Tribe's commitment to education, history, and cultural empowerment.
