Gulkana Village Council

The Gulkana Village Council will provide library services to the community that include checking out books and materials to patrons, providing Internet access, as well as printing, faxing and scanning services. Funds will go towards developing and implementing a youth summer reading program that may include hosting additional youth or community events as time allows. Examples of possible community events include children’s story hours, community game nights, crafting projects, movie nights, and cultural language workshops/cultural activities. The project will provide direct benefit to the community, giving residents the opportunity to enrich their minds through the power of reading.
