Healy Lake Village

Healy Lake Village’s library will expand their book and DVD collection, and provide internet and computer access to the community. Funds will be used towards the hiring of new library staff, and the improvement of the library space such as in the addition of new shelves. As Healy Lake is a remote community with limited resources, this will allow the lirary to reach their goal for all Tribal Citizens to be able to engage in healthy activities that allows them to expand their knowledge and teach their knowledge to others. Library programming will aim to improve Tribal Citizen engagement in meetings, especially ones concerning decisions that will affect the tribal community.
