The Washoe Tribe’s Woodfords Indian Education Center houses the Húngalelti Library which will focus on new collection acquisitions related to indigenous literature. Library staff will introduce community members to the digital literacy tools on site, and train volunteers who are willing to learn how to catalogue new titles for the digital library management system. Funds will also be used to install two small “Freedom Libraries” outside their building, to be filled with books for all ages, and that will promote lifelong learning of diverse and quality content.
