Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe

Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe will continue to offer services and programs that enhance public education through a variety of means. Funds will be used to support the professional development of library staff who will bring valuable knowledge back to the tribe. The library program will provide education, including culturally appropriate education and other options, to the surrounding community and staff. Funds will be used to purchase more media and furnishings for the library, with the intent of creating a comfortable and well-equipped learning environment. This program is core to the tribe’s culture and heritage and brings strength and resolution to its community, and binding the community together.
