Native Village of Afognak

The Native Village of Afognak's Nadia Mullan Alutiiq Heritage Library will increase the collection of materials relating to the Tribe, the Alutiiq language and culture, as well as other Tribes in Alaska and throughout the United States. The library will also facilitate interactive cultural activities that will provide participants with hands-on activities connecting them to the Alutiiq language, crafts, culture, or experiences. The project will provide direct benefit to over 800 Tribal Members and nearly 3,400 Alaska Native people within the project service area.
