Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes

The Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska will increase holdings as resources for its tribal citizens as it works to strengthen tribal and community languages, arts, and cultural knowledge. This project will support the acquisition of library-related materials, supplies, equipment, furnishings, and services. This project will support the coverage of expenses related to staff participation at professional conferences. Many resources specific to Tlingit and Haida cultures are out of print, cost-prohibitive, or difficult to find. This project seeks to expand access to resources because many existing Tlingit and Haida resources are currently inaccessible.
