Citizen Potawatomi Nation

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation library will assign dedicated personnel to research and maintain educational materials that are historically, culturally, traditionally, and genealogically significant to Algonquin tribes, the Neshnabek, and Potawatomi. The library collection includes educational resources pertaining to Algonquin, Neshnabek, and Potawatomi politics, economics, traditional and contemporary social practices, anthropological studies, education, migratory practices, language, storytelling, genealogy and juvenile literature. The library personnel will assist scholars, tribal members and other visitors to ensure they enjoy a more comprehensive experience when visiting the library. Continuing education and training of library personnel will be provided to enhance and diversify the knowledge of research, library and informational services.
