Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin

The Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians will purchase library materials, in a variety of formats, and supplies to enhance the library collection and support the summer reading program. Areas to add to the collection include resources in support of early literacy, materials for the visually and hearing impaired, materials focused on Native language, history, and culture, and titles for recreational and educational needs of the community. Additionally, the library will hire two assistants for the summer programs for children to help create a great experience for children in grades 1-5. The project will provide direct benefit to tribal members with a particular focus on youth.
