Karuk Tribe

The Karuk Tribe will use grant funds for a library technician, new books, software subscriptions as well as library office supplies to support its existing operations and to maintain core library services for its community. Activities will include conducting item inventory, cataloging analog materials, and uploading digital content to help improve services for accessing information. This project will provide direct benefit to the Karuk tribal citizens and the Department of Natural Resources as well as users of the People’s Center, the Karuk Tribal Libraries, and the Sípnuuk Digital Library, Archives and Museum.
